Benton Comprehensive Development Plan

The Benton Comprehensive Plan documents are now available for download and for public comment. Please review the Plan and submit any written comments on it to Marsha Guffey at mguffey@bentonar.org or fax 776-5922 no later than May 7, 2007. Three public hearings on the plan will be held at the Benton Municipal Complex, 114 South East Street at the following dates and times:

May 3 at 7:00pm
May 4 at 2:00pm
May 5 at 10:00am

Please attend one of these public hearings to ask questions about the Comprehensive Plan and to voice your opinions.

After the closing date for public comments, the Benton Planning Commission will consider any changes to the document. The Planning Commission will adopt the Comprehensive Plan and forward it to the Benton City Council for final approval.
