The old adage “Home is where the heart is” certainly applies to Benton, Arkansas.
We are the “heart” of Arkansas because we are located in the geographic center of the state. Benton is a great place to raise your family, with an excellent school system and a growing and energized business community surrounded by attractive and affordable homes. Benton has retained its small town atmosphere while being only minutes away from Little Rock, the capital of Arkansas, and Hot Springs “The First National Park”. Many enjoyable events are held in our community. You can always find something to do whether it’s going to a Friday night football game, attending “Old Fashioned Day” on the courthouse square, enjoying an outdoor concert at the amphitheater, taking a scenic canoe trip down the historic Saline River, or having your children involved in excellent sports programs.
We had to move away from Benton once in the early 1990’s due to a company transfer. As soon as the opportunity to return to central Arkansas occurred, we never hesitated to move back to Benton because we felt like it was home.
