Utilities Administrative Department
The Benton Utilities Administrative Services division provides all
financial management for Benton Utilities and the City of Benton. All
financial statements and budget printouts are compiled in this department
as well as all bills are paid by this department’s employees. They work
closely with the Benton Utilities General Manager to accomplish these
objectives, and also work closely with all department heads and elected
staff.
Director of Finance and Administrative Services

Karen Scott is the director of Finance
and Administration in the Administrative Services division. She
oversees and coordinates all business and administrative functions of
the department, accounts payable, general financial, budgetary, and
administrative matters. Assisting Ms. Scott in accomplishing the goals
of this department are a Management Service Supervisor, two accounting
assistants, an executive secretary and a receptionist. The employees of
this department work closely with Terry McKinney, Benton Utilities
General Manager. |

Michael Collier
Maintains the financial reporting, general ledger, budget, compiles
financial statements, and assists the Director as needed. |
Executive Secretary

Maretta Mrdja
Answers, screens, and directs incoming calls. Greets customers and
visitors. |
Accounting Assistant

Debbie Rice
Performs accounts payable, general accounting, bookkeeping and clerical
chores. |
