A number of departments make up Benton Utilities; they include
Water Distribution, Water Purification, Electric Distribution,
Wastewater Collections, Wastewater Treatment Plant,
Purchasing, Billing Services, Civil Engineering, Human
Resources and Administrative Services. All of these
departments are under the direction of the General Manager who
works closely with the Benton Utilities Commission.
The mission and commitment of Benton’s Public Utility
Commission is to provide its customers with efficiently
managed and operated electric, water and wastewater services
at competitive rates and to methodically establish and
maintain a strategy for not only meeting current needs, but
address the future demands the City’s anticipated growth may
place on the system.
